As most of you have heard, our Premier, Mr Jason Kennie, has decided that we are now able to start ‘stage 2’ of reopening our economy and other services, including tutoring well ahead of schedule. Tutor Doctor has given the ‘go-ahead’ for at-home tutoring, provided both parties are good with it and a questionnaire is filled out before each tutoring session stating, before entering the home. As most of you also know, I am the prime caregiver for my elderly parents, one of whom has lung cancer. I must take extra care in considering visiting students’ homes. I cannot, at this point, resume in-house tutoring. I will reassess in two weeks (June 26, 2020) and will decide then. I’m as eager as everyone else to get on with it! but must be cautious.
